Steve and Theng Theng

When we first met Steve and Theng Theng, they haven't really decided on their date yet...and for the next few months, we didn’t hear from them, until one day Theng Theng called and said: hey, we have decided on the date and you’re our planner!

From deciding on gowns to the photographer, they were the nicest couple to work with.  They were spot on in every vendor they chose.  Theng Theng’s and Steve’s easy charismatic charm rubbed off everyone - all the vendors  were so dedicated into providing the best for them!  As we always say, when you trust the vendor, the vendor will go all out for you.
Spellbound loves fresh flowers and we generously adorned the dining area with lush giant blooms of hydrangeas, lisianthus, matthiolas and the heavily scented eucalyptus. Gold gilded Tiffany chairs completed the aesthetic.
If you look carefully, you can see two bottles of insect repellent! We didn’t dress it up coz when you’re bitten by mozzies, you want to grab the most obvious thing!
Always the one who loves to dream up surprises, Anna ‘conspired’ with Steve and Theng Theng to get photos of the guests. We engaged a caricaturist to personally draw every single guest and printed the artwork as seating placecards. It was such an instant hit with the guests who were all surprised at the efforts of Steve and Theng Theng to make the wedding that more personalised.
We printed out seating plans with the caricatures and the
guests find their seats from the boards!

Special mention of Mael Mael!  Anna would like to share her caricature as she loves the cat…almost resulting in catnapping her fr. Steve and Theng Theng : )
More often than not the groom is usually over shadowed by the bride in her bridal gown, but in this instance, we must say, the groom held his ground in his spiffy suit.

It was an intimate small wedding that was so fun, so spontaneous and yet so heartfelt and true.
From the tearful and memorable speeches to
the serious dancing enjoyed by EVERYONE (that's Steve's niece Evie who stole the limelight during their first dance) after dinner, this wedding
had that special magical essence that celebrated love, family and friendship.
We didn’t want the night to end,
but when the clock strikes 12am, we had to say goodbye...
...for Steve and Theng Theng to live happily ever after!
